YANNI VOICES TOUR OPENING WEEKEND!
The North American leg of the Tour officially kicked off on Friday, April 10th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and yanni.com was there! It was an incredible first show to one of the most anticipated tours of 2009! Click here to see live photos from Opening Night!
The entire arena was buzzing with excitement and anticipation of seeing Yanni, Chloe, Nathan Pacheco, Leslie Mills and Ender Thomas.
As the house lights went down, the roar of the thousands of fans shook the arena as Yanni triumphantly returned to the world stage with Yanni Voices.
The show opened with a spectacular visual montage from past epic concerts featuring images of the Taj Mahal, Acropolis and The Great Wall of China. The images were projected on huge screens all around the elaborate stage, and was accompanied by a haunting and familiar variation that echoed of the song, "Nican". From the first note struck to the final resounding cadence, music lovers of all ages, backgrounds and continents were treated to a feast for the senses that they will not soon forget.
The concert was an awe-inspiring musical event and an incredible show by Yanni and his Voices.
